HOLIDAY LIGHTS & SIGHTS BUS  TOURS

Meeting Place:

• Meet your local guide the flagpole in front of Union Station. The flagpole is located at the intersection of Wynkoop and 17th Streets.

• The address of Union Station: 1701 Wynkoop St, Denver

• Be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the Denver lights tour departure time to ensure you do not miss the arrival or departure of your bus. Denver Christmas lights tours do start and depart on time due to the timing of holiday light displays/shows. If you're not present at the published bus departure time, our team will accept that you've decide not to come or that you've made other plans.

• Denver lights bus tours operate rain, snow, or shine & when events are happening at or around Union Station. There are events many evenings during the holiday season. ​

  • In cases of extreme weather, our team will contact you with rescheduling or cancellation information at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled departure time, as your safety and the safety of our team members is paramount.

  • Extreme weather that would dictate rescheduling or cancelling: ​

    • An active blizzard or road conditions causing unsafe driving conditions.

• Your local guide/driver will be wearing festive holiday apparel. Your 14-passenger tour bus has a mural of the Denver skyline covering the sides of the bus and the Discover Denver Tours logo.

• Denver Christmas lights bus tours are not wheelchair or stroller accessible and cannot accommodate car seats.

• Please note the ending location (Tivoli Quad; 1000 Larimer St.) differs from the starting location to ensure you still get to see and experience all the holiday lights and sights which have been moved this year due to construction in their original location. Please plan accordingly

Ages:

• Ages 6+ are welcome to see the Denver lights and sights! 

• Due to both state and insurance regulations and car seat laws, children under 6 years old are not permitted on the bus.

• Every passenger needs to be a ticketed passenger, therefore lap children are not permitted

• Will your kid(s) like the tour of Denver's lights? That really depends on your kiddo(s)! Our Denver holiday lights tours are suitable and designed to be enjoyed by all ages. Your guide is trained and experienced in working with youth. Youth ages 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Odds & Ends:​

• Please bring: A camera for some great pics of the Denver holiday lights and some holiday spirit and cheer!

• There is the Free 16th St. Mall shuttle that can take you to the tour departure location from most downtown hotels. It runs every few minutes.  

• You will be outside for the City & County Building's Holiday Lights show and to visit the Mile High Tree, so don't forget to dress in layers and prepare appropriately for cold weather! This includes warm boots with good grip., a hat, and gloves or mittens.

• Please plan on using a restroom prior to coming to the tour, as there are no restroom stops on this Denver bus tour route.

• Seeing Denver's Christmas lights is a great activity for locals & you family and friends visiting during the holiday season!
