Q: When is the best time to do a Denver bus tour?
-

Starting your trip with a fun, guided overview of Denver's neighbourhoods, landmarks, and history gives you a local's perspective that makes everything else you do in Denver more meaningful — you will know the stories behind the buildings, the neighbourhoods worth exploring on foot, and the hidden gems your guide recommends along the way. Tours run year-round, with the most frequent departures from May through October.
-
Q: Does the Denver bus tour stop at the State Capitol?
Yes — the Colorado State Capitol is one of the highlights of the Discover Denver Bus Tour. Your guide will share the story of the famous Mile High Steps, the gold-leafed dome, and the Capitol's lesser know parts of Colorado's history. The State Capitol stop is a photo stop where guests can step off the bus, stand on the exact step marked one mile above sea level, and take in the view toward the Rocky Mountains. It is one of the most popular moments of the tour. If an event or construction prevents the group from stopping at the State Capitol, you'll still get a great view and you'll stop at another great Denver landmark for a photo stop. -
Q: Can children do the Discover Denver Bus Tour?

Wear comfortable layers and bring a water bottle. Denver's weather is famously unpredictable — it is common to experience sunshine, wind, and a temperature swing of 20 degrees or more in a single afternoon. The bus is climate-controlled, but the tour includes two optional outdoor photo stops where you will be outside briefly. Sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended in summer, and a light jacket is a good idea year-round.
